| A few Saturdays ago Ken and I decided to go to a market we hadn't been to, so first to the town of Darwen to the Darwen Saturday Market, had lunch there and walked all around the market (we were highly impressed and want to go back there again sometime) and then we left and headed to the city of Bury to their HUGE Market. (Ken has been to the Bury Market several times, it is closer to Manchester, where he is from.)
I took photos from the car on the way to Bury, it was a pretty country ride. Bury is closer to Manchester, the area where we live (Mossley, where we live, is only 12 from Manchester City Centre). The Bury Market is known all over the UK for being a really great market and it WAS!!! Loved it!! Both of these markets are in the county of Lancashire, where we live. Bury is one of the largest markets in the UK and really has everything just about you could want. It's fun to stroll around.
