| These are photos we took at Formby Nature Reserve. It was a gorgeous sunny day but chilly. We first walked over the sand dunes and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and seagulls. The tide was out so couldn't get a great pic of the sea but it was still very pretty there! Then we walked back inland a bit and into the Red Squirrel Reserve (some of the last red squirrels in Britain). Red Squirrels are native to Britain so it was special seeing these and also since neither of us had ever seen one in person, only on a recent documentary on tv about this very place - Formby Point Nature Reserve. This is about an hour from where we live so I hope we can go back from time to time and enjoy the squirrels and the sea (I want to go and get photos when the tide is in next time). Hope you all enjoy! Each photo has a description underneath it. Just click on first photo and then scroll down to where it says Slideshow OR just click on each photo to see it. |
