Our Day Out in Wales

We took a nice ride out to Wales last Saturday. When we got there it was a bit foggy but it turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day but pretty chilly. (This area is about 2 1/2 hours from where we live.) We first stopped in the town of Welshpool and walked around there and had a nice lunch of homemade soup and bread, at a little tearoom in a building that was very very OLD. We also took a walk to a castle in the area (about 3 miles round trip). We want to go back to that castle when it opens, it wasn't open to the public yet cause of the time of year. The walk was sooo pretty as I hope ya can see in the photos. After leaving Welshpool, we headed for the waterfalls we had come to see. Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfalls is a little over 2000 feet high and was so pretty with lots of water. We had gone there almost 3 years ago and it was pretty then but not quite as much water.
