Blackpool, England on the Irish Sea Coast for our friend's Birthday Party

Ken and I were invited to our friend, Jack's 60th BD party at a hotel in Blackpool. Blackpool was once the most popular tourist resort in England. It is still very popular party town for hen and stag nights and live performances by comedians, singers and such. It's a little too much of a party town for me but this was a nice quiet private party. smile

Since it is an hour's drive from where we live, we decided to spend the night in the hotel, as most of the guests did. We enjoyed the sea front views across from the hotel that afternoon and then the party that night. It was a nice party with a Scottish singer performing (he was really good). We enjoyed ourselves and I think Jack did too, we hope.
