| We had a really nice day driving up to th N. Yorkshire Coast. The sun came out and it was pleasant even tho it was pretty cool. Took about 2 1/2 hours to get to Staithes, a charming very old fishing village, where we had a nice walk around and took lots of photos.
Then we drove down the coast a few minutes to Whitby Bay. It was crowded as it usually is on a nice day. It's a very popular tourist area. Whitby Abbey is said to have inspired Bram Stoker in the writing of his classic, Dracula. Very interesting and fun town! We love to go there and get fish n chips! We hope you enjoy your day with us on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. Janie & Ken |
