Day out in the beautiful Cheshire countryside to Little Moreton Hall & more!

Sunday, Jan. 6th, we decided to take a ride into the Cheshire countryside. Cheshire is a beauitful county and not too far from where we live in Lancashire. We live right near the county borders of Lancashire, Yorkshire & Cheshire.

First we drove to the 500 year old Little Moreton Hall, a beautiful Tudor home. We didn't get to go inside as it was closed for the season but we will return. The grounds are beautiful and we were able to get some nice shots. It turned out to be a fine sunny day.

Then we found 2 very old churches and took some photos. I love the style of these old buildings.

Last we drove to the village of Gawsworth. We parked near a lake at St James Church and walked around taking photos of the pretty area.

It turned out to be a wonderful day and we ended up walking a lot and getting some exercise and really neat photos.
