Christmas Day & Boxing Day (the day after Xmas here in the UK)

25th December 2007 to 26th December 2007

Hi!

Ken and I spent Christmas Day at Barbara & George's (Ken's sister & bro in law's). Barbara fixed a yummy Xmas meal, as always, and it was nice being with her and George, Ken's mum, and several of his nieces & nephews.

Then the next day (Boxing Day here in the UK) we drove into the county of Cheshire to a sort of "steam gathering" at a local pub in the town of Lymm, where a few steam traction engines were on display and then we went in The Jolly Thrasher Pub for a good meal. After eating, we came out just as the engines were were moving up the highway to the next pub (kind of a pub crawl with steam engines...haha). Ken & I drove on down the road a bit to a place to stop and look at The Bridgewater Canal for a few minutes and get a few photos.
