Today we took off for a ride in the countryside. We drove through a part of Lancashire and enjoyed the scenery. I of course had to get out and take pics when we found some sheep. 
Then we went on to the tiny village of Newton In Bowland and stopped to take some photos there at the river. I enjoyed taking some snaps of the sheep and some cows by the river. It's a beautiful little village and it was a gorgeous day, as you can see. We drove on and came to a village called Slaidburn and took some photos there at the river. Pretty area too! Lots of hikers & bikers around! Oh! I found a pretty horse I HAD to go pet and take some photos and more sheep! Then we drove across some moors and found more cattle and sheep, so I was taking some photos from our car. Then we drove on into Yorkshire to the town of Settle and tried a different cafe (we have tried 3 different cafe's there and this was the best one). We had a nice yummy lunch! After we ate, we walked around in Settle some and then headed back home driving through the Yorkshire countryside and then finally back into Lancashire and I got some photos of Pendle Hill from the distance. It's a very popular hill in England (said to be the area where The Pendle Witches, from the 1600's, lived). Hope ya enjoy the photos! This was a nice day out for us!
