| A little over a month ago Ken and I went to the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, 1 hour and 45 minute drive just a bit southeast from here. We drove up on Castle Hill and walked around the castle ruins which includes the old prison and also an old building which is the county crown court, both within the castle walls. Neat! I saw a barrister with his wig on, standing outside the court house talking on his phone. (Had only seen them in their wigs on tv. I loved the little shops there too and all the neat looking cafes and tea rooms. The city centre of Lincoln was down the hill. We walked down for a few minutes but then back up on castle hill and ate at one of the little cafes. Lincoln is a very nice town and I'd love to go back. I hope you enjoy the tour around castle hill and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Remember to look under each photo for a description. Thanks for viewing our photos. |
